Composite autoclave horizontal model (also called composite autoclave or carbon fiber autoclave) is the pressure vessel which specially designed and manufactured to fabricate composite material parts. In September 2019, Guangdong customer communicated with our engineer by telephone for composite autoclave. After a brief technical explanation, the customer came to our factory in October and had a face-to-face discussion with the engineer. Finally, according to the size and process of the product produced by the customer, we confirmed the parameters of the carbon fiber autoclave.

Program Design of Autoclave Horizontal

The carbon fiber autoclave equipment is automatically controlled by Siemens PLC controller to realize the temperature, pressure, time, vacuum and other working procedures in the high temperature curing process, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving, high efficiency and environmental protection. The autoclave equipment does not need manual operation and achieves a good working effect when it runs automatically. The program is designed for automatic vacuuming, automatic heating, automatic heat preservation, no manual operation is required after setting the working program. The goods can be picked up directly after finishing, so as to reach purpose of saving labor, energy consumption, and improve work efficiency. The comprehensive production cost of the enterprise can be reduced more than 35% by this design. The temperature value and pressure value in the tank are displayed in real time on the touch screen panel, which is convenient and intuitive. Temperature parameters, pressure parameters, vacuum parameters, time parameters, etc. can be independently set according to product requirements. The temperature data and pressure data in the tank can be transmitted to the computer control box for easy printing.

After four months of careful design and fabrication, this carbon fiber autoclave was successfully sent to the customer site in Guangdong in July 2020. Guangdong customer fully affirmed our design, material selection, structural layout and system configuration, and expressed that they will cooperate with us if there is a need for expansion in the future!

How to Avoid Composite Autoclave Machine Accidents?

Composite autoclave machine (also called carbon fiber autoclave) is a kind of pressure vessel equipment. Users should pay special attention to the safety of related pressure vessel operation during its use, except the safety of conventional equipment. The main manifestation is the explosion or explosion caused by the of hyperpressure inside the autoclave machine or leakage accidents, so it is necessary to formulate corresponding precautions in order to safely carry out the production work of autoclave machine curing. There are related autoclave machine explosions and leaks in the past. Today, we will briefly discuss how to avoid autoclave machine accidents.

1. The operator must strictly abide by the technological process and labor discipline, and operate in strictly accordance with the safety technical operating procedures. Not only the operators, but also the management personnel of the enterprise must understand the basic knowledge of autoclave machine, related laws and regulations. The operators of autoclave machine must be trained and certified. The safety interlock alarm device can not changed on the autoclave machine at will. It is necessary to purchase composite autoclave machine products with qualifications for designing and manufacturing autoclave machine .

2. Before production, the autoclave machine must be carefully inspected and the obstacles must be removed in the autoclave machine to make sure that the tank cover is fastened during each production, and the screws should be complete and intact. The auxiliary instruments, signals, pressure gauges, and safety valves of the equipment should be checked regularly. Lubricate mechanical bearings as required. It is strictly forbidden to continue working when the autoclave machine is leaking, the pressure gauges and the safety valve are malfunctioning, or other abnormal conditions. It will need strictly control the feeding amount, speed, sequence, temperature, pressure, etc., to prevent the temperature and pressure in the tank from rising sharply and over-temperature and differential pressure.

3. When the material enters into and exitsoutthe autoclave machine, the bridge rails should be laid flat and straight, the trolley should be pulled and steadily pushed over the rails. Rapid collisions are not allowed to prevent dumping and injury. After the working process of thermo-compression curing is completed, it is necessary to confirm that there is no residual pressure before opening the middle and inlet seals, otherwise it is strictly prohibited to open the tank. Tighten the nuts evenly when the tank seamed, and there should be no air leakage. The air intake should be slow and take attention to the reading of the pressure gauge, also pay attention to whether if the pressure gauge fails. During work, if there is a strong leak in pipelines, valves, instruments and tanks should close the valve immediately and open the exhaust valve, report for repair in time.





4. When people at work, you must concentrate and always pay attention to the operation of the equipment and the surrounding safety. When autoclave machine is working, the operator should patrol the side of the autoclave machine.It is forbidden to stand in front of the tank cover, behind the machine head and the joints of the tank cover. It will also need pay attention to the valve and pipe joints to prevent the high temperature and high pressure in the tank from rushing out and hurting people. It is not allowed to leave the post while working. When filling and unloading cans, you must cooperate closely with the operators and follow the safety operation regulations.

5. At the end of the work, you should turn off the power switch, check whether all buttons and handles are in the zero position. It must close all inlet valves of the autoclave machine and open the exhaust valve. Carefully make process records and handover records. Resting and drying clothes in the autoclave is prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to bake other items in an empty.

6. It should perform regular inspections to ensure the safe and effective use of autoclave machine, safety valves, pressure gauges, and quick-opening alarm devices. Prohibit flames, and ground them well to prevent static electricity.

Shandong Composite Materials Research Institute Staff Come to TAIAN STRENGRH Purchase Composite Materials Reactor

On the afternoon of 11. 2, 2020, a three-person team from Shandong Composite Material Research Institute visited Tai’an Strength. ASME Standard Composite Material Autoclave Reactor Will be Finished

ASME standard composite material autoclave reactor (also called carbon fiber autoclave or composite autoclave) is the most effective and applicable pressure vessel for manufacturing composite material. ASME U2 Certificate Passed Successfully for Professional Pressure Vessel Supplier

Taian STRENGTH Equipment Co., Ltd was certificated as the professional supplier of pressure vessel (pressure vessel manufacturer) of ASME U and U2, 10th, July, 2020, this is a great day for our company, ASME head office notified us that we have passed  quality system check and test of the ASME institutions, and they agreed to give us the ASME U2 certification and update ASME U certification. This news is not only important to our company, but also for our partners and all customers. This will be the first U2 certification in our city.

U2 certification is a very important for high pressure manufacturing industry. Our previous U certificate can only produce pressure vessel to up to 20MPa, but the U2 certificate can be helpful to us to manufacture the pressure up  to be 68 MPa. This will be a huge improvement in pressure. After we got the U2 certificate, in further our company can meet the customer requirement both in size and pressure requirements.




With the help of the U certificate, we have got many experience in manufacture 0.1-20MPa projects and we are a professional pressure vessel supplier, we have cooperated with many customers abroad for U certificate projects, and these projects also have get good feedback from different countries customers. On the 5th June, 2019, our general manager Mr. Pengbo Wang decided that we will apply U2 certificate to update U certificate. After getting the instruction, all of our engineers and technicians joined in the U2 certificate works, all departments began their responsibility such as  quality design, testing, welding, workshop manufacturing, etc. Based on the U2 certificate, we should build our quality management system firstly, all quality details should made very clearly. Based on the U2 certificate we should manufacture one test products, according to the test group require, we manufacture one for them test. The check group also will review the before producing products’ documents, after 7 months prepare, all work get ready.

But unfortunately, Covid-19 spread out all over China in the end of 2019, the production work stopped. The Covid-19 was under control with the common efforts of  all Chinese people. As the first plan, considering the people healthy, ASME test group decided to postpone the on site test for 15th March to 14th June.

By long time waiting,  ASME test group arrived to our company on 14th June, after by two days careful check and test, they highly praised our work. Finally, they decided to release certificate to us, but that should be agreed by the head office. After two weeks, we finally got the head office notification, we passed the ASME U2 certification and update of ASME U certificate. We will try our best to serve domestic and abroad customer, and keep to be better professional pressure vessel supplier.

Constituent Parts of Autoclave for Carbon Fiber

  1. Overall structure: By the tank body, tank door mechanism, high temperature motor, wind channel board insulation layer and so on constitute a high pressure, high temperature tank body.
  2. Safe interlock installation: It consists of automatic pressure interlock, manual interlock and ultra-high voltage alarm installation.
  3. Quick door installation: manual electric dual-purpose quick door design, can be normally opened and closed in case of power failure.
  4. Sealing installation: the tank door adopts silicone inflatable seal, resistant to high pressure.
  5. Pressure system: the pressure transmission and control system is composed of compressor, gas storage tank, pressure control valve, pipeline, pressure transmitter and pressure gauge, etc. The pressure inside the tank can reach 1.5-2.5mpa, the error is no more than 0.05mpa, with safe and explosion-proof installation.
