Air Pressure Tank Delivered to Peru

Air Pressure Tank(also called compressed air tank) is the equipment used to store or contain gas, liquid and other media. And then it is one of the our hot sale pressure vessel products. Since the customer mainly produces glass products, he wants to buy new ones to replace the previous compressed air tank. Then the customer provided detailed technical parameters, with a volume of 30m3, a diameter of 2300mm, a working pressure of 200PSI, four air vents and one air inlet, which is made according to ASME standards with U stamp and MDR. In a word, we made the quotation as per customer’s requirement.

About Peru gas storage tanks

Regarding the dimensions of air pressure tank, the customer wants to purchase the same as the old equipment. And gives the drawing, with the diameter changed to 2800mm. As a result, we updated the price according to the customer’s drawing. Actually, with the increase of diameter, the thickness of the air pressure tank will also increase, which is also a major factor affecting the price. In the end, the customer chose the diameter tank.

As for the support of compressed air tank, the previous support of the Peru customer is relatively simple and not firm. In other words, according to ASME code, we redesigned a new support which is more firm.

About the surface treatment of compressed air tank, we generally remove rust inside the tank, and apply a layer of anti-rust primer after polishing smooth outside the tank, and then a top coat. In addition, the Peru customer requires that the tank inside should be painted spraying with anti-rust primer. And the tank should be treated normally outside. Due to the small manhole (450mm) of the air pressure tank, and the lack of air circulation inside the tank. Therefore it is difficult for the workshop staff to spray paint inside. In order to meet the requirements of the customer, we finally adopted the way of painting inside the tank.

Application of Large Size Autoclave Tank

Large size autoclave tank (also called composite autoclave or carbon fiber autoclave) is applied in some aerospace composite materials parts such as aircraft wings. Technical Process of Carbon Fiber Yarn Oven

The curve of carbon fiber yarn oven (also called composite autoclave) matrix resin mainly influence by resin molecular structure, also influenced by other components such as curing agent, cross-linking accelerator and so on. Outside conditions such as temperature, pressure and time are very important to curving process, these three datas called process parameters.

Now the current domestic and foreign carbon fiber yarn oven resin curing pressure, except for polyimides, is generally controlled within the range of 0.3-0.6Mpa. Composite materials pressure for carbon fiber yarn oven is usually lower than 1.6Mpa. For technical process, the transformation of matrix resin from linear structure to three-dimensional network structure can be divided into three stages such as flow stage, gel stage and curing stage, this process is among stable temperature. Domestic aircraft structure used composite matrix resin curing temperature. This temperature is the upper of domestic carbon fiber yarn oven temperature.

Distribution of temperature in composite autoclave will have air stirring circulation device in it, the main function makes the temperature uniform.

The main composite materials production defects from high to low is stratification, porosity, rich fat, poor adhesive, debonding, looseness, weak adhesive and deformation, among this stratification take high, the proportion of excess over pores and pores is also relatively high, while the proportion of other defects is relatively low. So stratification defects are composite autoclave technical process. When the material system is consistent, the delamination is mainly affected by the structural form and technological conditions of composite components.

Hot Press Forming process of Clad Dished Head

Clad dished head is one kind of dish head, as a part of pressure vessel, connected with shell using welding type. For example, there are spherical shape, oval shape, torispherical shape, spherical crown shape, cone shape and flat shape, etc. According to the different clad dished head geometry . In welding, clad dished head is divided into butt welding head and socket welding head. And the head mainly used for different kinds of pressure vessel. Such as storage tank,heat exchanger, tower, reactor vessel and separate equipment, etc. The main material of clad dished head have carbon steel(SA516Gr70, A3, 20#, Q235, Q345B, 16Mn and so on), stainless steel(304, 321, 304L, 316, 316L and so on). And alloy steel (15Mo3, 15CrMoV, 35CrMoV, 45CrMo ), aluminum, titanium, copper, nickel and nickel alloy etc.

Firstly ,the end is consists of base material and clad material. Then the clad material as a usual is stainless steel. The base material as a usual is carbon steel. The reason to choose the carbon steel is that mainly consider its high strength. For stainless steel ,there is nothing to say more. Mainly considering its anti corrosion. Now the head is mainly used for the high pressure vessel industry. Its working medium needs anti corrosion. At now stage ,there are mainly explosive, rolling , diffusion welding , overlay, insert metal ingot method to production clad plate. This explosive method is the mainly used among these.

Process of clad dished head hot pressed forming mainly have the following:

Making the workpiece into the furnace heat after heating to 380℃ in the furnace body. The heating temperature between 940℃and 950℃. During the heating process, controls to reach the heating temperature within 15 minutes. By adjusting the amount of fuel injection and then kept the temperature 5 min.
Preheat the cavity to 500-550℃.
Place the heated workpiece in the cavity for pressing, and the pressing time is 2-3min.
Wind cooling theclad dished head to below 500℃ after pressed forming within 3min.

In a word, it should strictly control the heating process parameter. And holding time after workpiece preheat into furnace heating. So this can avoid effectively avoiding slow cooling to produce carbides. And can work a long life due to the short time pressed. It should cool the clad dished head below 500℃ by using wind cool within 3 min after forming.

As a usual , hot pressed is mainly used for a higher thickness clad dished head. It should choose a suitable manufacturing way depending on its thickness.
