Elliptical Tank Heads (also called elliptical head or elliptical dish end) are usually made with carbon steel, stainless steel, austenitic and non ferritic metals that can be cold worked. The shape of these elliptical tank heads are more economical, because the height of the head is just a fraction of the diameter. The elliptical tank heads radius varies between the major and minor axis usually with the ratio is 2:1. The elliptical tank heads are the economical solution for medium pressure tanks due to the reduced metal thickness requirement.

In September 2017, we received American customer elliptical tank heads inquiry. We confirmed the technical parameters through a few e-mails communication. The customer was very satisfied with our quotation of elliptical tank heads. However they hope that we can supply them with two pieces of elliptical tank heads samples. So that they can make experiments of elliptical tank heads at their place. We think that is OK so we are preparing for the samples of elliptical tank heads.After 10 days later, we have finished the samples manufacturing, so we send the samples by express.After they receive our samples, they make experiments and are pleased with our technology level. No more than 5 days, they give us the PO of 500 pieces of elliptical tank heads with the same dimensions.
